Solar Thermal Systems

In response to growing customer demand for
energy efficient heating, Gerkros is introducing a range of solar thermal systems to suit both commercial and residential buildings. Each kit includes solar thermal collectors, mounting kits, a pumping station with a solar controller and glycol. As the systems are frost protected, no drain down is required.

Kits are available with 2.0 m² or 2.4 m² anthracite coloured flat plate collectors. Solar absorption is 95%, emission (heat loss) 5% and thermal efficiency 79%.

Three kits are available to suit tiled, slate and flat roof installations. Gerkros stainless steel twin coil cylinders are recommended for use with these kits. Sizes available are 170, 200, 250 and 300 litres.
